Without the lens, the DC2000 can focus as close as 3.5” (9cm) when set to macro or super macro focus. With the lens, the camera can get as close as 1.5” (4cm), effectively enlarging the subject by 2.3X. Using the lens in combination with the DC2000 Super Macro focus mode results in enlarging the subject by 4X. The lens is threaded in 52mm and attaches easily to other housings, such as Olympus PT-056, PT-058 and PT-059.
