This is not a beginner’s introduction to lock picking – it assumes some prior non-destructive entry experience. Entry requirementsTo get the most from the training you should: Already be able to pick at least one type of lock non-destructively (e.g. cylinders, automotive, mortice or other advanced locks). Be comfortable with fine hand skills, tension control and reading tool feedback. Be prepared to concentrate for a full intensive day per course. You do not need to already be competent at safe picking or 7-lever safe locks before the first course – that is exactly what the programme is designed to teach. However, complete novices to lock picking should gain basic experience first or attend a suitable introductory course. Picks & equipmentFor each course you must have a suitable 2-in-1 safe pick for the lock being taught (with a clicker). You can bring your own if you already own the relevant pick.
